Youth charged with murder of ‘Cutty’ May
Marshel Hadaway has been charged for the death of Cuthbert âCuttyâ May, formerly of Gibson Corner.{{more}}
The 20-year-old of Gomea appeared at the Kingstown Magistrateâs Court on Monday, November 30, 2009, and was not required to plea to the offence.
May succumbed to a gun shot wound on October 14, 2009, at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.
It was reported that on the night before, a masked gun man approached May, who was playing dominoes with friends at his usual hang out spot in Rose Place, and shot him from about 20 feet. He was reportedly shot at the left side of his back.
Hadaway will return to the Serious Offences Court on December 7, 2009. He is represented by Lawyers Kay Bacchus Browne and Grant Connell. (OS)
