Williams was found guilty on March 9, 2009 for causing the death of Sean Baptiste at Ottley Hall on March 1, 2007.

At his sentencing hearing on Monday July 27th, Justice Gertel Thom chided local police for not producing Williams record during his trial. She said it was inexcusable that the case had been heard at the last Assizes and no record had been presented to the court.

According to the Barbados Nation newspaper, Williams, formerly of Haynesville, St. James, is wanted in Barbados following the murder of 24-year-old Jason Barton of Perseverance Drive, Jackson, St. Michael.

Three other men have been charged in connection with Barton, who was shot and killed not far away from his St. Michael home three years ago.

As a teenager, Williams served three years in prison on a robbery conviction.
