Car pushed over Casson Hill?
A Belair woman had a close brush with death last Wednesday night when her car was sent careening over an embankment at Casson Hill.{{more}} Fifty-year-old Velma Bailey had to be assisted out of her car and rushed to the Accident and Emergency Department of the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.
When SEARCHLIGHT visited the scene of the accident, her husband William Bailey who had gone to the hospital but had returned to secure the vehicle, said he believed the seatbelt the mother of three was wearing played a great part in saving her life.
In 2005, during the General Elections, a vehicle ran off the road and went over the same embankment which Velma, a SVG Teachersâ Union employee went, over.
