Campden Park man robbed of rum and over $3,000 in cash
Police arrested three men and charged them with robbery in relation to a June 17, 2025 incident.
Delroy Harry, a 20-year-old labourer of Kingstown Park, Jahiem Belgreaves, a 20-year-old fisherman of Lowmans Bay and Julius Charles, a 20-year-old resident of Campden Park, have been jointly charged with robbery of a Campden Park man.
Investigations reveal that the accused men, armed with a gun, robbed a 30-year-old resident of Campden Park of $3,176.72 EC in cash, one (1) bottle of Campari valued at $50.00 EC and two (2) bottles of Sparrow Premium Rum valued at $80.00 EC – the total value being $130.00 EC and $3,176.72 EC in cash, by pointing a gun at the virtual complainant’s head.
The offence was committed in Campden Park on June 11, 2025. The accused men appeared before the Biabou Magistrate Court on June 18,2025, and did not plea to the indictable charge. They were granted bail in the sum of $6,000.00 ECC each with one surety.
They were also ordered to submit all travel documents and stop notices were place at all ports of entry.
Belgreaves and Charles are to report at the Questelles Police Station every Tuesday between 7am and 7pm while Harry is to report at the Central Police Station every Tuesday and Thursday between 7am and 7pm.
They were ordered not to have any contact with the complainant and the matter was adjourned and transferred to the Serious Offences Court for a hearing on June 26,2025.
