Conductor charged with Belvedere burglary

Kelwyn Bute, a 41-year-old conductor of Revierre, is expected to appear in court on April 22 to be sentenced on burglary charges.

Bute was arrested on April 17, charged with entering the dwelling house of a 51-year-old, mason  of Belvedere and stole $360.00 EC in cash. He apparently gained entry by forcing open a wooden door. The offence was committed on April 16, 2024 around 6:30 am.

Bute appeared before the Kingstown Magistrate Court where  pleaded guilty to the charge and was remanded in custody.
