Man arraigned for murder of minibus conductor

An alleged murderer who was wanted by police was caught and taken before the court where he was arraigned on a murder charge.

Omari Bramble appeared at the Serious Offences Court on July 12, where he was not required to plea to the indictable charge.

He is charged that, on July 3, at Richmond Hill with malice aforethought, he caused the death of Darius “ Grabba” Williams by an unlawful act.

Chief Magistrate Rechanne Browne, remanded him into custody until October 3, for commencement of a preliminary inquiry.

Bramble was not represented by legal counsel when he made his court appearance.

The deceased, a 24 year old bus conductor from Glen, was stabbed at the bus stop outside the Peace Memorial Hall at around 5:50 p.m, on July 3, 2023.

He was rushed to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, but later died as a result of his chest wound.
