Mt Pleasant farmer, Glenroy Primus has been charged with murder in the death of Hilton Thomas also of Mt Pleasant, Marriaqua.

Thomas, a farmer from Mt Pleasant died in a chopping incident on Wednesday November 16, at the hands of his neighbour.

Primus,60, appeared at the Serious Offences Court on Wednesday, November 23, where he was not required to plead to the indictable charge. He was remanded into custody and expected to return to court on January 30, 2023.

Primus is being represented by legal counsel, Roderick James.
