Man in alleged scissors stabbing incident gets bail

A 34 year old farmer of Vermont, who is facing a charge of wounding pleaded not guilty when he appeared in the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court on Monday, February 28.

Sheldon Moses was arrested on February 27 and charged with the offence of wounding, the police said in a release.

The police said according to investigations, Moses allegedly unlawfully and maliciously wounded a 25 year old self-employed man of New Montrose by stabbing him on the right side of his chest with a pair of scissors at China Town, Kingstown around 4:30 p.m on February 23, 2022.

When the accused appeared in Court on Monday, he pled not guilty and was granted bail in the sum of $2,500 with one surety.
The matter was adjourned to May 23, 2022.
