Young man of Barrouallie charged with burglary at police station

A 20 year old labourer of Barrouallie is charged with several offences for burglary, damage to property, and possession of unlicensed ammunition.

The police said in a release that Sandy Gloster, was arrested and charged that he 1) allegedly entered the Barrouallie police station as a trespasser and stole several items valued at EC$560, the property of the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines; 2) without lawful excuse, allegedly damaged one black aluminium 4×4 sash glass window valued EC$450.the property of the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The investigation further led to the accused being charged with possession of one .9mm round of ammunition without a licence issued under the Firearms Act. The incidents are said to have occurred about 2:00 p.m on October 2, 2021.

The accused is slated to appear in the Serious Offence Court to answer to the charges.
