Police have arrested and charged Ronald Millington, a 36-year-old vendor; Daniel Delpesche, a 19-year-old student and Zachery Haywood, a 18-year-old Labourer all of Murray Village with assault.

A release from the police said “according to investigations, the accused men allegedly pushed a 50-year-old Mechanic over an embankment causing him to fall on his face and shoulders. The incident occurred at Murray Village about 7:00 am on April 20, 2020.

The accused men appeared before the Serious Offences Court to answer to the charge. Millington pleaded not guilty while Delpesche and Haywood pleaded guilty. The matter was adjourned to September 21, 2020 and transferred to the Kingstown Magistrates Court. The men are presently on station bail.
