Teens charged with stealing gun
Two teenagers have been charged with stealing a firearm belonging to former parliamentary representative for North Leeward Jerrol Thompson.
Kishroy Duke, 17, of Choppins and Michael Richards, 17, of Golden Vale were jointly charged that on November 10, 2016 at Brighton, they stole one Glock .26 semi-automatic pistol serial number BAWA501 valued at EC$2,800{{more}} and one round of .26 ammunition valued at EC$1,000, property of Jerrol Thompson of New Montrose.
Both teenagers pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Duke and Richards were granted bail in sum of $50,000 each, with one surety and they are to report the Calliaqua Police Station every Monday and Thursday.
They are expected to return to court on December 2, 2016 for trial. (AS)
