Elderly man charged over alleged wounding incident in Greiggs

A 63-YEAR-OLD Greiggs man was yesterday remanded in police custody after he allegedly grievously wounded a fellow villager with a piece of lumber.{{more}}

When Augustus Glasgow appeared before the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court, he was charged that on October 27, 2016 he wounded Ralph Garrick of Greiggs causing grievous bodily harm.

SEARCHLIGHT understands that up to press time Garrick was warded at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, where he is said to be in serious condition.

Glasgow will remain in police custody until Monday, November 7, 2016, when he is expected to appear before the Serious Offences Court. (AS)
