Teenager pleads guilty to gun, ammunition charges

A labourer of Union Island, will be sentenced today, Friday, at the Serious Offences Court, after pleading guilty to gun and ammunition possession charges.{{more}}

Garvin Providence, a 19-year-old Union Island resident, appeared at the Serious Offences Court on Wednesday and pleaded guilty to having in his possession one 9mm pistol, one live round of 9mm ammunition and two live rounds of .380 ammunition without a licence issued under the Firearm Act, at Kingstown on September 14, 2015.

He is currently on remand.(KW)
