Richardson appeared at the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday charged with committing the breaking offence.

He was also charged with stealing a quantity of items for a combined total value of $1,677.

The court heard that among the items stolen were supplies for flood relief distribution.

Bail was denied to the accused on the request of the prosecution.

According to Corporal Black, Richardson was denied bail on the grounds that some of the stolen items were yet to be recovered and that the accused had no fixed place of abode. Richardson will return to court on March 4.(DD)
