On Wednesday, March 18, the prosecution, led by Inspector Nigel Butcher, indicated to the court that five more witnesses will be called to testify in the matter, including two doctors, the investigating officer and two civilians.

It is alleged that Sutherland, a mechanic, was struck on the back of his head with a piece board at approximately 3:45am that morning. He subsequently died two days later at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.

The matter was adjourned to May 8, when the matter is expected to conclude. Attorney Grant Connell represents the accused.
