He is charged with being in possession of one rock of cocaine and one bomb of cannabis in Rose Place on Saturday, November 24.

Rahaman, who is an accountant, appeared at the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court on Monday before Coroner Stephen Huggins and was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 with one surety. He was also ordered to surrender all of his travel documents until the matter is heard on Monday December 3.

Rahaman explained to court that a lady friend gave him a matchbox to hold after which, a gentleman approached him and began searching him.

Rahaman arrived here five weeks ago and is scheduled to travel back to Trinidad in February 2008. (SB)
