A charge on possession of ammunition was withdrawn from four women last week Friday at the Serious Offences Court in Kingstown.{{more}}
Kenlyn Clouden, her twin daughters Shereen Clouden, 20, Sherva Clouden, 20, and Lafleur Young, all of Edinboro walked away free women, after the prosecution offered no further evidence in the matter.
The quartet had previously appeared at court two days earlier and pleaded not guilty to the having six rounds of .45 ammunition in their possession. They were granted $1000 bail.
The court heard that a search warrant at the defendantsâ home at about 6a.m. on Tuesday, September 18, turned up the six rounds of ammunition in a vase situated in the living room. When cautioned by the officers, they all denied any knowledge of the items.(KW)
