Taylor cuts out after positive verdict

Steveon Taylor must be a happy man. Whatever dark clouds were hovering over his head were blown away the morning of Tuesday June 7, at the start of the Assizes. {{more}}

The judgement came with an almost inaudible whisper from Justice Frederick Bruce-Lyle, but the words were loud enough to send Taylor scurrying out of the courtroom.

Acting Director of Public Prosecutions, Colin Williams, told the court that the Crown

was “discontinuing the matter.”

Taylor faced a charge of unlawful sexual intercourse.

“You are free to go,” the Judge said.
