Customers are front and centre at Lulley’s

As Lulley’s Fishing Supplies marks its 75th anniversary, General Manager Cascita “Cassie” Hazell, who has been with the company for 32 years, is reflecting proudly on her journey.

She told SEARCHLIGHT on Monday, June 23, 2025 that the company has grown from a local supplier to what she calls one of the major fishing supply companies in the region.

“I’ve been with Lulley’s for almost half its lifetime,” said Cassie, who manages the Bequia branch.

Stressing her pride at being an employee of Lulley’s, Cassie said it has been a long journey, filled with commitment and recognition and appreciation for the community in which they operate.

Founded by the late Ross Lulley and his wife, and now owned by his son Mark Lulley, Cassie stressed that the company has built a reputation for friendly service, competitive pricing, and a wide-ranging inventory.

From nylon lines, hooks, sinkers, seine, nets, rope, knives, spearguns, rods and reels to snorkels and wetsuits, Lulley’s offers everything for professionals and hobbyists alike.

“We ship items to places like Grenada, Saint Lucia, Carriacou, and Tortola. Anyone who wants something, we can ship it,” Hazell declared. “We’ve got six staff at our branches and we always make sure customers get what they need.”

Hazell credits the company’s longevity to strong leadership and integrity.
