Message from Head of EAP Unit Andrea Hazell
The Government of St Vincent and the Grenadines recognises and supports the need to provide an enabling work environment which caters for the health and well-being of ALL Public Service Employees.
This vision is in alignment with the global mandate of providing Employee Assistance Programmes which help to attract and keep good employees; safeguard their emotional and mental well-being; increase productivity and improve national outputs.
On behalf of the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Unit, a wellness and professional support agency of the Ministry of Public Service, Consumer Affairs and Sports, I wish to thank all supporters and well-wishers of the programme as we celebrate our first-year anniversary of service to employees of the Public Service of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The EAP Unit has the responsibility to assist public servants in balancing their work and personal life by providing professional counselling sessions and support services. Confidentiality is one of the hallmarks of the Unit as we provide an environment that is conducive for free and clear communication.
I encourage all public servants to access our services, when necessary, as we prepare the way for a better and more productive public service.
