Clico not just about insurance

Clico is not just about insurance. Students can benefit from Clico’s commitment to the region’s development through the University of the West Indies Cave Hill campus.
Clico has given one million dollars to the UWI so that persons attached to the university can benefit from a Student Professional Development Centre, a Graduate Research Programme, as well as a Conference series. {{more}}
These measures were emphasised last Monday when Clico opened its Vincentian headquarters.
According to Parris, “the series will include workshops, conferences, and training activities related to international trade and financial services, which will assist the business community to better respond to challenges of a competitive and global environment,”
Those are some of the initiatives outlined in a Memorandum of Understanding with the University according to Parris.
And students can continue to take advantage of the Annual Clico Challenge scholarship. This has been going on for the past ten years, and it is aimed at enhancing educational opportunities of winners.
Additionally, Clico is working along with the Ministry of Education to host an annual Teachers’ Awards Programme which will highlight and showcase exemplary primary and secondary school teachers, as well as promote national recognition and respect for the teaching profession.”
