Congratulations are in order for Shanice Thompson, who graduated from the Bernard M Baruch College on June 3, 2015. Shanice completed a major in Finance and Investments, with a minor, in Law and Policy and an Honors minor in Advanced Business Analysis. Shanice was selected and honored as a Zicklin Undergraduate honors program and has been awarded to the Dean’s list every year.

Prior to graduating from Baruch, Shanice had her humble beginnings at the Chateaubelair Preschool, the Y.W.C.A and the Kingstown Preparatory school. She has been further educated at the St. Vincent Girls’ High School, where she was awarded the prestigious “G.H.S Award for CSEC Performance” after receiving passes in eleven (11) subjects. Shanice then attended the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College where she was awarded a National Scholarship for her academic achievements. In addition, she has spent a year at Medgar Evers College, where she was also awarded to the Dean’s List every Semester.

Shanice is the daughter of Frances Thompson, an employee at the General Employees’ Co-Operative Credit Union and Raphael “Rafi” King at the National Broadcasting Corporation.

The Family of Shanice Thompson would like to thank everyone who had contributed to Shanice’s success. Your support over the years has helped to shape Shanice into the wonderful young lady she is today. Above all, Shanice is grateful to God, with whom all things have been possible.
