Vickilyn Job graduates Magna Cum Laude

Vickilyn Job graduated with a Bachelor of Technology degree in Hospitality Management from the City University of New York (College of Technology) on June 4, 2013. She was awarded the high honour of Magna Cum Laude at an Honours Ceremony held on May 30, 2013, having maintained a consistent position of being on the Dean’s Honours list for three consecutive years of her studies. Vickilyn, who is the daughter of the Rev Victor H. Job and Mrs Methalyn Job and the sister of Mrs Trisha-Ann Job Moses and Victor Job (Jr.), is a past student of the St Joseph’s Convent Marriaqua and the St Vincent Community College (Technical Division). Before leaving St. Vincent, Vickilyn worked at the Ministry of Health and at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital as catering supervisor for several years.

Vickilyn attributes her success to her strong faith and belief in God for giving her the knowledge, wisdom and understanding and for removing all obstacles placed in her way; to the fervent prayers and magnanimous support and encouragement received from her parents, other family members and friends. She hopes to continue her studies and recognises that it is only with hard work and determination that she will be able to undergo the many challenges that lie ahead.

Her parents, sister, brother and other family members are all proud of her achievements, and extend congratulations to her on her excellent performance.
