COLLEGE VOICEHow do you think skipping classes affects the student, his or her classmates and the school on a whole?

Skipping class may not seem like a big issue, but it is. It is not entirely bad to skip âsomeâ classes, because sometimes we may not feel up to it, and going to that class we may be a distraction to others because we are not entirely interested in that class. However, skipping classes regularly would affect you, because at college you need 90 per cent attendance, and if you donât have that, it may lead to consequences such as not being able to sit exams and also not graduating. In doing this, the school and lecturers become frustrated, because, unlike what others say, lecturers at college do care if their students pass or fail, and they would want to keep up their pass rates; so would the school.
