Vincentian athletes secure 5 medals at Special Olympics USA games

The St Vincent and the Grenadines team to the Special Olympics USA games returns home this afternoon after having secured five medals in Bocce and tennis at the games held in Orlando, Florida from June 5 – 10, 2022.

In Bocce, Terrence Davis competed in three individual games to win a silver medal, while Gamal Antoine, who also competed in three games, won a bronze medal. In the doubles competition, Davis and Antoine secured a gold medal.
In Tennis singles, Ornoro John won a silver medal, while Natasha Doyle secured a 4th place ribbon. In the Tennis Doubles, Doyle and John won a silver medal.
The Bocce Team was coached by Woodrow “Keylee” Williams , while the Tennis Team was coached by Roxann Williams.
The other members of the Team were: Team Doctor – Franke Joseph and National Director – Sezevra Joseph.
The team returns home today on AA flight #1427 at 2:33pm.
