SVG seeking to represent “with pride and discipline” in WINLOTT Under-19 cricket
St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), will seek to improve upon past performances in the 2026 WINLOTT / Windward Islands Male Under-19 Cricket Tournament that is scheduled to be contested in the Commonwealth of Dominica from April 11 to 18, 2026.
The team leaves today, Friday, April 10 for Dominica, and will open their campaign tomorrow, Saturday, April 11, 2026 against Saint Lucia at the Geneva Playing Field in Grand Bay; while over in Portsmouth at Benjamin Park, reigning champions and 2026 hosts, the Commonwealth of Dominica will take on Grenada.
The tournament will see the best of the four Windward Islands’ Under-19 cricketers pitting their skills against each other.
St. Vincent and the Grenadines’ head coach Elron Lewis believes that “After weeks of preparation, the squad is locked in and ready to represent the nation with pride, discipline, and determination”.
The St. Vincent and the Grenadines squad comprises: Jorden Charles, captain; Jawayne Adams, vice-captain, Alston Bobb Jr.; Zack Thomas; Ozaid Edwards; Kesean Hoyte; Kevin Joseph; Kazado Henry; Damali Phillips; Deandre Dougan; Elran Glasgow; Lebron Douglas; Shane Roberts; and Olani Slack. The management team is manager, Javid Harry, and head coach Elron Lewis.
On Sunday, April 12, 2026, Dominica and St. Vincent and the Grenadines take on each other at the Geneva Playing Field, while Saint Lucia and Grenada will do battle at Benjamin’s Park.
Monday April 13, 2026 is a rest day, and on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, SVG will play Grenada at the Geneva Playing Field, and Dominica and Saint Lucia will clash at Benjamin’s Park.
SVG will play Saint Lucia on Wednesday April 15, in round two at the Geneva Playing Field, while Dominica and Grenada will do battle at Benjamin’s Park. Thursday April 16, 2026 will be a rest day before the four teams go into the fifth and sixth round of matches.
In the fifth and penultimate round of matches on Friday, April 17, 2026, SVG will take on Grenada at Benjamin’s Park, while Saint Lucia and Dominica will tussle at the Geneva Playing Field.
The sixth and final round of matches will be played on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at the same two venues. St. Vincent and the Grenadines is set to face Dominica at Benjamin’s Park, while Grenada will face off against Saint Lucia at Geneva Playing Field.
The prize-giving ceremony will follow completion of the matches, and the training squad to represent the Windward Islands in the 2026 Regional Rising Stars Male Under-19 Championships will be named.
