Vincy Heat wins one, loses one in Concacaf Series

VINCY HEAT, St Vincent and the Grenadines’ senior men’s Football team completed their sojourn in the Concacaf Friendly Series with one win and one loss.

In their Group C match last Sunday night, March 29, 2026, the Vincentians made amends at the Antonio Trinidad Stadium in Rincon Bonaire, when they defeated Barbados, 3-2.

Kirtney Franklyn, Azinho Solomon and Oalex Anderson were the goal scorers for St Vincent and the Grenadines. For Barbados, Jaron Oughterson and Ajani Banton, were on the score sheet.

The Vincentians were rebounding from a 3-1 defeat in their first match played last Thursday, March 25.

In their opening salvo, Vincy Heat was beaten 3-1 by host Bonaire.

Steven Pierre had put St Vincent and the Grenadines in front, before Devin Koorn and own goal, as well as a Christopher

Isenia penalty handed Bonaire the come- from- behind win.

The lone team in the group that was undefeated was St Martin; they registered 3-1 wins over Barbados and Bonaire.

The Concacaf Series was played during the official Fifa windows to keep teams that were no longer in World Cup qualifiers active.
