System Three still leads as VSPL takes a break
System Three sits on 19 points going into the Easter break of the Vincy Soccer Premier League (VSPL).
After a hiccup in week seven when they were defeated by North Leeward Predators, System Three redeemed themselves with a 5-0 defeat of Hope International last Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Independence Park.
Two strikes from senior national team call-up, Zibeon Cunningham, and one from Lazaro Lynch, along with goals from the talismatic Azinho Solomon, and warrior Jahvin Sutherland, gave System Three another emphatic victory.
Trailing System Three after matches in week eight is North Leeward Predators on 16 points. Predators saw off a spirited Avenues United 4-2 on Friday, March 20, 2026.
Predators were gifted a goal by Avenues United, and with Diel Spring’s brace and an Ezra Glasgow’s strike, they kept a watchful eye on System Three.
Avenues United’s goals were both registered by Kadel Hector. Avenues stays rooted at the bottom of the 10-team table on 3- points.
In third place on 15- points is Layou, who eked out a draw against the plucky and improving Camdonia- Chelsea.
In Sunday’s second match, Layou was required to respond after Juemar Luke had given Camdonia- Chelsea the lead.
Emroy Gloster was the man who ensured parity was restored.
The points earned by Camdonia – Chelsea, see them in seventh place with eight points, two more than Hope International on 6- points.
Also on Sunday, Awesome took charge of the numerical advantage afforded them by the ejection of the BESCO –Pastures custodian, to earn a 3-2 triumph.
Cordell Theobalds and Dillon Moore had netted for BESCO- Pastures, before Chad Strough, two, and Jouvanny Enville, one, got their outfit the three points.
Despite the loss, BESCO- Pastures is in fourth place on 15 points, while Awesome is positioned sixth on 11- points.
And, in Friday night’s capper, Je Belle and Bequia United rallied to a 1-1 draw.
Scoring for Je Belle was Mitchran John, and for Bequia United, Carlos Simmons.
Je Belle is in fifth position on 12- points, while Bequia United occupies ninth place on 4- points, having drawn four of their eight matches.
