Kingstown Prep remains Champs of Primary Schools’ Athletics

The Kingstown Preparatory School took the overall title at the 2026 Inter-Primary Athletics Championship on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at the Sir Vincent Beache Stadium in Diamond. The Prep School athletes, in maintaining their hold that they snatched in 2025 from the Stephanie Browne Primary School, amassed a total of 301 points to stamp their dominance on the annual sports meet.

New faces emerged to fill the second and third place spots in this year’s championships.

The Georgetown Government School, 129 points adrift of the Kingstown Preparatory School, totalled 172 points to take position number two, while the Canouan Government School placed third, having amassed 167 points. In the 2025 championships the second and third places were occupied by the Questelles Primary School and the Paget Farm Government School respectively.
