Webster excels at Barbados Junior Open Squash Tourney

Young Vincentian Squash player, Ethan Webster gave one of his best showings when he competed at the Barbados Junior National Open Championships earlier this month.

The Barbados Squash Club was the venue for the March 12 to 15, 2026 tournament, and Webster came away with a second place as well as a third spot.

His best effort was in the Under-13 age groups, only falling to the eventual winner, Finn Grahan.

After registering a 10/12, 11/5/ , 11/6 win over Elian Hamati, Graham reversed the tide on Webster in the final as he romped to an 11/9, 11/5, 11/3 win.

Graham again was Webster’s nemesis in the Under-15 category trumping 11/7, 11/3, 11/5.

Before crossing paths with Graham for the second time, Webster had an 11/0, 11/3, 11/4 triumph over Jaylen Brewster.

Webster, though, closed his sojourn in the tournament in third place.

His third-place trophy was attained when he ousted Zachary Lashley, 11/7, 8/11, 14/12, 12/10.
