Volume 2 remains SVGCC’s Volleyball champions

Volumme 2 retained the St Vincent and the Grenadines Community College’s Invitational Volleyball title by overcoming the Division of Arts, Sciences and General Studies (DASGS) Spikers in a five set final last Friday, March 13 , 2026, at the Villa Campus Hard Court.

But it was the Spikers who took the first set at 25-21, before Volumme 2, came back to hold on to a 26-24 second set win.

The tussle continued in the third set, as DASGS Spikers secured a 25-17 win.

Again, Volumme 2 responded by taking the fourth set in commanding fashion, 25-14. Volumme 2 then pushed on to win their second consecutive title with a 15-13 fifth set triumph.

In the third-place play-off that preceded the final, Sport Sciences Stars overcame DTVE Blockers 3-2.

DTVE Blockers won the first set 25-19 before Sport Sciences Stars drew level with a 25-20 second set win.

DTVE Blockers took the third set 25-20 before it was again level following the 25-23 fourth set win by Sport Sciences Stars.

A 15-12 win in the decisive fifth set handed the Sport Sciences Stars the third place position.
