Sanjay Jiandani is Level Three certified
President of the Archery Association of St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), and National Head Coach, Sanjay Jiandani, is a Level Three World Archery certified coach.
Jiandani gained the highest level of certification after he attended a coaching seminar in Guatemala from February 10 to 14, 2026.
He was among 24 coaches who attended the seminar, under the aegis of World Archery, in conjunction with the Guatemala Archery Association and World Archery Americas.
This intensive and interactive seminar was presented by Marc Dellenbach and Bernardo Olliveira, both experts of World Archery Excellence Center, Switzerland.
The duo imparted knowledge and expertise in modern day Archery coaching, covering all areas of training, from novice archers to elite level including technical, physical and mental focus.
For Jiandani, the task is his to bring to bear his certification to impact the St Vincent and the Grenadines Archery landscape.
“I am grateful for this opportunity and strongly believes that St Vincent and the Grenadines has the talents to represent on the international stage.
“As such, training will be come more intense, with the hope that archers ready themselves to compete at various events starting this year, 2026.”
Jiandani in acknowledging that Archery is relatively new to St Vincent and the Grenadines, is wooing persons to “come and try it”.
The Archery Association of St Vincent and the Grenadines has its practice base at the playing field at the West St George Secondary School, Belair.
