Hope International FC hosts Recognition and Awards Ceremony
Marking its 30th anniversary as a Football Club, Hope International hosted a Recognition and Awards Ceremony, identifying stand-outs and top achievers over the period, as well as acknowledging emerging talents.
The ceremony of reward and highlight took place at the SVG Community College’s Hospitality and Maritime Institute at Diamond, on December, 20 2025.
The club at that function, recognized two of their most accomplished servants- Cornelius Stewart and Marlon James, who both were recipients of the Achievement awards.
The pair both captained St Vincent and the Grenadines’ senior men’s team, are Sports Ambassadors, and also played professionally in different countries across the world.
Rewarded for their service to the club, were Vincent John, who was among the first crop of players that started the club in 1995, as were Cametha John who has been the club’s long-standing secretary, and Kamara Doyle, who served as coach of the club’s first and second teams.
Meanwhile, Juma Jilkes was presented with the club’s Long Standing Player award and Paul Farrell, the senior coach of the club, accepted the Masters’ Award for his impact on the club’s over- 40s outfit.
Fast forwarding to the present, Tevin Thompson was named the club’s senior men’s top player, with the Top female player being Kaylan Browne.
Copping the award of the most improved female player was N’ Kenna London. Among the age group beaming footballers were the top players and those named as the most improved.
In the Under-10 age group, Kwaanza Phillips was adjudged the top player; and the most improved was Zhyy Husbands. The top Under- 12 player was Taj Henry, while Azaniah Webb claimed the prize for being the most improved.
Alexander Cummings was deemed the top Under-15 player, and the most improved- Jett Llewellyn.
And, Rashad Noel was listed as the U-17s top player while Kelvin Jessop, was the most improved award in that age group.
