SVGCC’s Invitational Cricket performers rewarded
PLAYERS WHO EXCELLED in the 2025 SVG Community College’s Invitational T/10 Cricket competition were recognized at a brief ceremony held Friday, December 12, at the Sion Hill Playing Field.
Topping the awards was Jawayne Adams who was the MVP of the competition. Adams scored the most runs-186, and had the best batting average- 93.
Awarded for the highest individual score was Kirtney Franklyn, while fellow Northern Stars’ player, Watson Seaton, had the best bowling figures, 4 for 0, and copped the most wickets- 7.
Ajay Delpesche of Sport Sciences Combined was voted the best fielder, and Denella Creese of Northern Stars was adjudged to be the best wicketkeeper.
Alston Bobb Jr was the best all-rounder scoring 110, and taking five wickets.
Adjudged to have taken the best catch was Delron Delpesche of Sport Sciences Combined.
Also rewarded were the MVPs and most improved of the six teams.
Taking the MVP for DASGS was Alston Bobb Jr.; Zach Thomas, St Vincent Grammar School; Kelongi Garraway, DTVE Team 1; Jomaldo Farrell, DTVE Team 2; Javon Richardson, Sports Sciences Associates; and Jawayne Adams, Northern Stars.
The most improved players were Mbeki King, who represented DASGS;Yuvraj Campbell, St Vincent Gramma School; Rickeldo Mc Coy, DTVE Team 1; Kesta Williams, DTVE Team 2; Olani Slack, Sports Sciences Associates; and Denella Creese, Northern Stars.
