Barrouallie Secondary remain champs of schools’ Football
SCHOOLS IN Barrouallie won both the Junior and Senior titles in the 2025 Zess Cola Secondary Schools’ Football finals, hosted last Sunday, December 14, under the lights at the Arnos Vale Playing Field.
Barrouallie had a hardfought extra time 3-2 win over St Martin’s in the Junior segment.
A brace from J’ Shan Samuel and a single strike from Reggie Barbour accounted for Barrouallie’s tally.
Kafayne Clasp replied for the St Martin’s Secondary.
Then the Barrouallie senior team made it five straight titles, as they blanked Bethel High School 2-0.
Delanzo Dickson and Jahieme Williams were the scorers for the Barrouallie outfit.
Among the awards presented on the night, J’ Shan Samuel was the top goal scorer with 12 goals.
The best goalkeeper in the junior segment was Sean Johnson of Barrouallie, while Jerrard Stapleton of St Martin’s was the best defender.
Reggie Barbour was adjudged the best midfielder and MVP of the Final.
In the senior Secondary Division, Khade Gooding of the Bequia Community High and Jordan McKenzie of Barrouallie tied for scoring the most goals-11 apiece.
Bethel High’s Isiah Barker was adjudged the best goalkeeper.
The best defender and MVP was Glenroy Layne of Barrouallie, while another Barrouallie player, Delanzo Dickson was adjudged to be the best midfielder.
