Prospective national Under-17 footballers courted
THE TECHNICAL Department of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation (SVGFF), is looking for the best Under-17 footballers both male and female- to fill spots in the respective national units.
This as St Vincent and the Grenadines prepare to compete in the Concacaf Qualifiers in early 2026.
Hence, players born on and after January 1, 2009; on or before December 2011, are eligible for selection.
In short, players must be between 15 and 17 years old.
St Vincent and the Grenadines is drawn in Group E of the Concacaf Under-17 Male Qualifiers, slated for February 3 to 12, 2026, alongside the United States of America, the Dominican Republic and St Kitts and Nevis.
According to Concacaf. com, St Vincent and the Grenadines is listed as host.
The under-17 females are in Group D, where they will meet Honduras, Jamaica, Guyana, and Aruba.
The groups’ play take place from January 24 to February 2, 2026, in Aruba.
Kendale Mercury has been named the male team’s head coach, with Ralph Stowe, selected as the head coach of the female unit.
