New champs to be crowned in SVGCC’s Netball Tournament

COME FRIDAY, December 5, 2025, a new champion will be crowned when the finals of the 2025 St Vincent and the Grenadines Community College (SVGCC) Invitational Netball competition is played.

Upsetting the apple cart was the Division of Nursing Shooters who took down the defending champions, Associates Combined 20-10 in one of the quarter final games played last Tuesday, November 25, 2025.

Victonia Williams led the way for DNE Shooters converting 14 of her 32 attempts.

Also making it to the semi-finals was the Division of Technical and Vocational Education Stars who defeated the Division of Arts, Sciences and General Studies Belles 15-4.

Juricia Solomon was in good form for DTVE Stars scoring 12 of 19 shots tried.

Joining them was the Division of Arts, Sciences and General Studies Elites who outdid DTVE Netters 1510. Nickyla Tannis scored 9 of her 15 tries for DASGS Elites, while Noyara Murray scored 8 of 16 shots taken for DTVE Netters.

Receiving an easy passage to the semi-finals was City Auto Parts Northern Girls who won by default from the Division of Teacher Education Alphas.

The semi-finals are slated for December 2, 2025 when DNE Shooters play DTVE Stars, and Northern Girls face off against DASGS Elites.
