SVGCC’s Netball at quarter final stage

THE QUARTER FINALS matchups are now known after the last round of preliminary games in the 2025 ST Vincent and the Grenadines Community College’s (SVGCC) Invitational Netball competition were completed on Friday November 21, at the Villa campus court.

In the next round, the Division of Technical Education Stars play DASGS Belles; Northern Girls face off against Division of Teacher Education Alphas; the Division of Nursing Education Shooters will oppose Associates Combined; and the Division of Technical and Vocational Education Netters face off against the Division of Arts, Science and General Studies Elites.

The quarter finals are set for today, Tuesday November 25, from noon.

In the last round of the preliminaries, Northern Girls had victories over DTVE Netters and defending champions Associates Combined.

Northern Girls overwhelmed DTVE Netters 32-3. Mekeila Williams scored 19 of her 33 attempts, while Jenique John added 13 from 23 attempts. Northern Girls then held off defending champions, Associates Combined, 12-7 in a low scoring battle.

DTVE Stars also had an impressive victory when they dominated DTE Alphas 33-6. Cherese Williams scored 18 of 42 tries, and Cherish Laborde 15 from 27 shots.

Defending champions Associates Combined outlasted DASGS Belles 13-7. Ketonna Tucker scored 10 of 21 attempts.
