Sports Sciences Soon Grads retain SVGCC Football title
Sports Sciences Soon Grads has become the first unit to retain the National Lotteries Authority, Unique Soccer Touch St Vincent and the Grenadines Community College Invitational Football Competition title.
A single strike from the head of Kareem Davis, last Friday night, November 14, 2025 at the Brighton Technical Centre, gave the 2024 champions another hold on the title over System Three in a dodgy final.
Soon Grads got to the final with a 4-2 win over Northern Stars in the semi-finals.
Kareem Davis, Gabriel Jackson, Romel Dickson and an own goal conceded by Northern Boys accounted for Soon Grads’ tally. Gideon Richards netted both goals for Northern Boys.
In the other semi-final, System Three Youths edged out DTVE All Stars, 2-1.
Cori Durrant Barbour and Devonte Nedd scored for System Three Youths, with Kevion Clarke netting for DTVE All Stars.
In the third place play off that preceded the final, DTVE All Stars got past Northern Stars 5-4 on penalty kicks after a 0-0 draw in regulation time.
Soon Grads’ Kareem Davis was adjudged Player of the Final.
