Four matches consume Masters Cricket weekend
Four matches were played last Sunday, October, 5, 2025, as the St Vincent and the Grenadines Masters T/20 Cricket Competition continued.
There were wins for North Leeward, Bequia, North East, and Strokes Masters.
North Leeward defeated Sion Hill by 8 wickets at the Cumberland Playing Field Sion Hill scored 114 for 8 off 20 overs, to which North Leeward replied with 115 for 2 off 11.4 overs.
León Samuel stroked 52 not out, and Clemore Millington, 33.
At the Stubbs Playing Field, Davis Construction Bequia saw off Park Hill by a massive 195 runs.
Bequia posted 242 for 8 off 20 overs: Embourne Toppin, 64, and Dan Williams, 55. In reply, Park Hill could only muster 47 all out off 10.3 overs. Also at Stubbs, North East piled on 209 for 7 off 20 overs versus North Windward.
For North East – Alison Dublin hit 75, Deighton Butler, 41 not out, and Elton Williams, 36.
North Windward responded with 150 all out off 19.5 overs, as North East won by 59 runs.
At the Buccament Bay Playing Field, Strokes Masters defeated Pastures by 9 wickets. Pastures made 50 all out off 18.4 overs. Strokes Masters responded with 52 for 1 off 6.1 overs, with Jean Cummings scoring 35, not out.
Six matches are set for this weekend.
On Saturday October, 11, North Windward and Park Hill clash at Stubbs. From 2:00 p.m.
On Sunday, October, 12, from 10:00 a.m Bequia and Glamorgan play at Stubbs. Also from 10:00 a.m Pastures and North Leeward meet at Stubbs; while at the Mustique Playing Field, Mustique takes on Strokes Masters.
Sunday’s other fixtures will pit North East versus Stubbs at Stubbs; and at Buccament, Sion Hill and RSVG Police face off. Both matches commence at 2:00 p.m.
