Saints champs national 50-over Cricket title
Saints went marching to a 97-run win over Flow Radcliffe last Sunday, October, 5, 2025 to win the St.Vincent and the Grenadines Cricket Association Inc’s. 50-over cricket title.
Choosing to bat after winning the toss at the Sion Hill Playing Field, Saints posted 229 for 9 from their 50 overs.
St Lucia and Windward Islands wicketkeeper, Noelle Leo, led with 104, which included 11 fours and 2 sixes.
He was supported by another Windward Islands Volcanoes player, Grenadian Ryan John, who made 39.
Rommel Currency posted 36 and his younger brother, Sunil Ambris, 26, were Saints’ other main contributors with the bat.
Bowling for Flow Radcliffe, Deron Greaves took 3 for 41; and Asif Hooper had 3 for 46.
Flow Radcliffe replied with 132 all out from 26.2 overs. Kodi Grant slapped 49, striking 4 fours and 3 sixes; and Othneil Lewis lashed one four and 3 sixes in his 28.
Flow Radcliffe’s batting was undone by the bowling of Jeremy Haywood, who picked up 5 for 50, and Geron Wyllie, 4 for 29.
