Amiyah Bascombe stands out at Karate Championships
COPPINGTRIPLE TITLES earned Amiyah Bascombe the accolade of Most Outstanding Female Karateka at the 2025 Hairouna Karate Federation’s National Championships held at the West St George Secondary School, on Saturday, September 27, 2025.
Bascombe won the Under-14 Kata and Kumite, and the Cadet Kata titles, a testimony of her supremacy on the day.
Amiyah’s younger sister, Cahya Bascombe, claimed the Under-12 Kata, as the Seishin Karate Club savoured the moments.
Taking the other titles at stake, were Adiana Morgan, and J’ Don Matthews.
Morgan won the Under-12 Kata event, while Matthews was the lone entrant for the Senior Kata, hence she was installed as champion.
