Barrouallie wins All Leewards Championships for the eighth time

The Barrouallie Secondary School (BSS) has patented the All Leewards Schools Athletics Championships, when the institution won the 2025 edition on Sunday, February 24, at the Victoria Park.

The “Warriors” as they are referred, brought that warrior spirit that saw them before Sunday, taking seven titles on the trot, and now making it eight in a row.

Barrouallie Secondary accumulated 516 points, 93 more than second place, and host school, Troumaca Ontario, who tallied 423 points.

Some distance behind was the Bethel High School on 356 points, with Petit Bordel Secondary registering 214 points to place fourth. Buccament Bay was next on 184 points.

It was the first time that the championships, that started back in 2017, was held at a different host venue.

The previous seven championships took place at the Cumberland Playing Field, North Leeward.
