Inclement weather and a waterlogged Calliaqua Playing Field put pain to the opening of the Royal St.Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force PoliceYouth Clubs (PYC) Inter-club-Football Competition which was slated to commence on Saturday, October 8, at the Calliaqua Playing Field.

A release from the police said as a result, the opening ceremony has been rescheduled to open on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at the same venue starting at 2:30 p.m.

The police said it apologizes for any inconveniences caused as a result of the postponement.

Three games were scheduled to be played following the opening ceremony in the competition which will be played in five zones among PoliceYouth Clubs.
