A game-high 36 points from player of the final, Jermaine John, helped Hoopsters to an uncomplicated 67-24 scoreline over Shell Shockers, in the final of the Blue Chip Basketball Academy (BCBA) inter-house basketball tournament.
The final was staged last Saturday at the Campden Park hard court.
Despite suffering the heavy defeat in the final, Ewansie Peniston was adjudged the tournament’s Most Valuable Player.
Jared Soleyn, Peniston’s teammate, got the nod as the most improved player.
Also awarded was Heat Wave’s Michael Smith, who was deemed the best defensive player.
Rising Stars won the inaugural tournament held in 2018.
The tournament got started on April 27 at the Calliaqua hard court. Mavrix was the other competing outfit.
