Romar Stapleton resets times at BCK track meet

Intermediate champion of the Bishop’s College Kingstown (BCK) track and field meet Romar Stapleton reset two individual records, when the 2018 edition was staged last Wednesday at the Arnos Vale One Playing Field.

Stapleton squashed the male 100 metres in 10.84 seconds and also broke the 400 metres male mark in 52.21 seconds.

 Putting together 27 points for Piggott House, Stapleton was named the intermediate champion.

Taking the junior females championship was Julissa Jack of Friday House with 28 points, and Desron Quammie, of Piggott House, was the males junior champion, with 30 points.

 Meanwhile, Aailyah John of Woodroffe House, 31 points, was the female intermediate champion.

 In the senior category, the female champion was Rikesha Jack of Piggott House, with 23 points, and the senior male champion was Chrisheur Harry of Piggott House, with 33 points.

 John copped the Victrix Ludorum title and Harry, the Victor Ludorum.

 With a tally of 736 points, Piggott House retained the title, ahead of second placed Woodroffe House, with 608 points.
