Coming into the match as underdogs, the BCK stopped the more seasoned players of the Bethel High, 20-16, to set up a meeting with the Central Leeward Secondary.
BCK stunned their opponents to lead 7-0 at the first quarter and ended the half at 9-6 in the ascendancy.
It was a slender one goal lead at the end of third quarter for the BCK, as Bethel had a period of revival.
But the determined BCK bunch rallied to win and a gain place in the final.
For Bishopâs College Kingstown, Avelyn Richardson registered 16 of her 19 attempts and Angel Maxwell scored 4 of her 7.
For the dethroned champions, Yanniesha Scipio scored 5 out of 7 and Shania Daniel â 11 out of 19.
Before meeting the Bethel High, BCK had a 27-22 triumph over the St Josephâs Convent Marriaqua in the quarter-finals.
Bethel, however, will have another crack at a piece of silverware, as they will renew rivalry with the defending champions, the Central Leeward Secondary, in the final of the Junior Division â a repeat of the 2014 version.
In a rare occurrence, Bethel High won by default from the North Union Secondary in the other half of the semi-finals.
By virtue of North Unionâs forfeiture, the Georgetown Secondary takes the third spot for the juniors.(RT)
