Road tennis to be introduced in SVG

In an effort to spread the game of road tennis outside the borders of Barbados, Michelle Straughn of the Professional Road Tennis Association (PRTA) of Barbados paid a visit to the Department of Physical Education and Sports to donate a set of road tennis balls and a net.{{more}}

Director of physical education and sports Nelson Hillocks said on Monday that the department is always looking for new sports to introduce to St Vincent and the Grenadines and expressed gratitude to the business development manager for the donation.

Hillocks also said resource persons from the PRTA will soon be in St Vincent to conduct training workshops with members of staff of the Sports department in the game of road tennis, who will then be responsible for spreading the game.
