Richland Park Pride and Joy Two emerged winners of the Richland Park Nine-A-Side Football Competition, which concluded recently at the âOvalâ in Richland Park.{{more}}
It, however, took kicks from the penalty spot for Pride and Joy Two to lift the title, after they and Greiggs had played to a 2-2 tie in regulation time.
Pride and Joy prevailed 4-3 in the spot kicks decider.
It was a similar case in the third place play-off for Pride and Joy Under-17 team, who got past Sparta 6-5, following a 3-3 draw.
Greiggsâ Valdo Anderson was the top goal scorer and Orlando Trimmingham of Pride and Joy Two â the best midfielder.
Downstreet Unitedâs Shem Cato took the best defender award and Pride and Joy Twoâs Anthony Hazell â the best goalkeeper.(RT)
