The senior menâs football coachâs confidence is pinned on the feed he gets from the hunger for success from his charges.
â I am a positive person and the players are confident too… I believe in the playersâ abilityâ, Huggins told SEARCHLIGHT last Wednesday.
Huggins is also banking on the usual home support to see the team over the Aruba hurdle.
âWith what the players have to offer and the support from the fans, I am not worriedâ, Huggins noted.
But the job is left to the 18-member team which has been selected for todayâs encounter.
Those making the final cut are goalkeepers â Winslow Mc Dowall and Lemus Christopher; defenders â Roy Richards, Reginald Richardson, Danroy Edwards, Akeem Williams, Kevin Francis and Jolanshoy Mc Dowall.
The midfield personnel are Dorren Hamlett, Nazir Mc Barnett , Emerald George, Oalex Anderson, Cornelius Stewart, Vasbert Ledger and Romano Snagg.
Tevin Slater, Azhino Solomon and Gavin James are the strikers who complete the unit.
Edwards and Williams are newcomers to senior representation.
St Vincent and the Grenadines advanced to this stage of the qualifiers after ousting Guyana on the away goal rule.
When St Vincent and the Grenadines faced Guyana here June 10, the match ended 2-2 and in the away fixture on June 14, the scoreline was 4-4.
But that was not all, as the Guyana Football Federation had lodged a protest to FIFA over the eligibility of Gavin James, who is English born, but who did not present a Vincentian passport on either occasion.
FIFA has since ruled in St Vincent and the Grenadinesâ favour, but the St Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation was fined US$ 5,000.
